During this class you will learn how to make realistic roses and rosebuds out of cold porcelain. Even if you have never worked with miniature flowers before, you will leave with a beautiful bridal bouquet you can be proud of. Depending on time, you can create more flowers in addition to the bridal bouquet.
The class project is designed for 1:12 scale, but the instructor can help those who wish to try to create 1:24 or 1:48 roses.
The class includes all materials necessary to make a modern bouquet of white or pink roses. If you would like to do a custom bouquet, please bring 12” of 1/8” silk ribbon in your selected color. We will teach you how to color or highlight your roses to match or contrast with your ribbon.
Supplies needed
You will need fine pointed tweezers, scissors, and a small paintbrush. All other tools will be provided by instructor but feel free to bring your favorites, as well as any extra magnification and lighting needed.
